imagines a utopian lunar civilisation in the year 3000, where diversity, equality, and harmony define a new future for humanity. MARLO blends European, Asian, and Brazilian influences with futuristic silhouettes and innovative materials to explore the evolution of fashion and society.

MOON is a utopian universe inspired by the idea of a lunar civilisation. It features 49 characters, each with unique traits, yet united by a Japofuturistic aesthetic.
MARLO’s new collection brings together European roots with Asian and Brazilian influences, blending three distinct cultural universes into MOON — a collection inspired by the dream of a harmonious society set in the year 3000. It envisions the first lineage of genetically modified humans capable of living on the Moon, representing hope for the continuation of humanity on another planet as Earth faces its most critical period of natural disasters, pollution, radiation, and war.
MOON imagines a free society, completely different from Earth’s current reality. Its inhabitants are educated to respect and care for their environment. This is a civilisation without taboos, prejudice, or stereotypes, rewriting the narrative of a modern, technologically advanced society defined by social equality, diversity, heightened collective consciousness, and harmony with the universe.
This diversity and complexity are reflected in the collection’s silhouettes, ranging from simple lines to intricate and asymmetrical forms. The materials used are extensive: eco-friendly textiles developed with modern technology to be lightweight and comfortable, pushing the boundaries of traditional fabric perceptions and offering innovative forms and finishes.
The colour palette contrasts the Moon’s dark, monochromatic surface — greys, whites, and blacks — with elements that reflect the rich traditions of this advanced lunar society.
Through this collection, MARLO seeks to explore imagination through an artistic lens, crafting yet another universe while remaining attuned to the evolution of fashion and embracing the intuition of future trends.
