last day on earth

imagines the final moments of humanity, reflecting on how we would face the end of our lives and our planet. The collection explores acceptance, emotion, and the beauty found in our last moments.

LAST DAY ON EARTH explores the question: if today were humanity’s final day, how would we choose to exist? Instead of fear or resistance, MARLO imagines a moment of acceptance — a celebration of life, memory, connection, and the emotions that define us.

Gathering as one community, we leave behind individuality and embrace what unites us: love, respect, vulnerability, joy, and sorrow. We wear our memories, our experiences, and our scars as symbols of survival, transformation, and growth. The wounds of the body and soul become precious ornaments — reminders of everything that shaped us.

The collection reflects the contradictions of human existence: destruction and beauty, loss and hope, fear and gratitude. Through materials, textures, and symbolic details, MARLO explores our relationship with the planet and ourselves. Earth-inspired colours, environmental references, and futuristic elements create a visual language between decay and renewal.

Hand-crafted scars, pearls, and transformed everyday objects become symbols of value and emotional attachment. Objects once considered insignificant are elevated into meaningful artefacts, carrying personal histories and memories.

LAST DAY ON EARTH is a reflection on the fragility of life — a final celebration of humanity, where every scar, every memory, and every connection becomes something worth honouring.
